7th April 1873 - An unnamed Blake child was born in Donegal to Joseph and Mary Eaton, but subsequently died.

7th April 1902 - Patrick Boylan cuts his own throat with a razor at home in 52 East Hamilton Street and is taken to Greenock Infirmary for treatment.

7th April 1916 - William Claude Lambie, son of James and Janet Spence McIntyre, marries Jessie Torrance in Holytown, Lanarkshire.

7th April 1917 - John Weir scores in a 2-0 win over Rangers at Ibrox in front of 15,000 fans.

7th April 1940 - Jessie (Lambie) Tallo (Sister of Claud) dies in Greenock aged 61 years.

7th April 1940 - Mary (Boylan) Lambie dies at 2470 Dumbarton Road, Glasgow, aged 60 years.



7th April 2001 - Ryan Charles Fleming, son of Pauline Mary Lambie and Robert Fleming, is born in Lesmahagow.
